TARGET GROUPS IDPs, returnees, pastoral drop-outs and other vulnerable groups in the society. ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE AND MANAGEMENT WOCHIDAR is governed by statute that sets down all the organizational affairs. The Board of Directors safe- guards the assets of the organization, carries out fund raising and works out the policies and regulations of the organization. The Board of Directors oversees the organization.

GOVERNING BODY PROFILE Governing body of WOCHIDAR consists of 9 active and highly experienced and prominent members having long years of experience in the development field with national and international exposures and experience in working with international and donor organizations. b. Staff Structure and Profile WOCHIDAR currently has 15 technical staff at managerial positions from various technical backgrounds.

In second line, WOCHIDAR has more than 20 active volunteers, each have a number of field skilled and experience. The Executive Director is responsible for the facilitation of organizational growth as a team leader and participates in programs and other activities within the organization. He is instrumental in policy advocacy and liaison; agency policy and strategy change management and head the project quality development cell.

Technical Expertise Know-How Available WOCHIDAR has expertise on the following themes, which are made available to the organizational and individuals on terms: Primary Health Care Program in localsetting Social mobilization Formal and Non-formal program development Micro-enterprise design and management Organizational development, management and sustainability Project management Public Policy and Administration Institutional capacity Building Curriculum and Resource Development.

NETWORKING AND COLLABORATIONS WOCHIDAR already created and maintains the collaboration of governmental, private, non-profit institutions and communities at large in the targeted areas to promote sustainable livelihoods among the most vulnerable communities in both urban and rural areas.

FUNDING SOURCES The organization shall strive to raise funding from both the international and local donors to sustain its objectives and activities. It has developed accountability and transparency mechanisms in conducting in its own projects. The organization has very strict financial management policy, systems and control mechanisms. It creates cooperation and working relationship with the local business people and the international donor agencies.



ORGANIZATIONAL STRENGTHS PALRI organizational strength lies within the skills, knowledge and experiences of its member organizations. Sound-vibrant and dynamic BOD and managing team. Dedicated experienced members and volunteers. Fully-equipped head office in Abuja. Good relations and cooperation with the government, private and non-profit institutions. WOCHIDAR ACTIVITIES As the team lead, I have led my team to engage in activities that improved the health, education and total well-being of women and girls.
Polio immunization for children under 5 at Mararaba, Nasarawa state on 24th Feb. 2021. Sensitization on breast lumps for young girls and women (fibro adenoma) at Apo resettlement, FCT on 13th April 2021.
Creating awareness in the dangers and prevention’s of hepatitis B at Government Hospital, Nasarawa on 16th June 2021. Sensitization on TB and malaria at Kabba Government Secondary School on 11 Aug. 2021. Aids awareness and prevention; sharing of male and female condoms at Bida Market, Niger State on 28th Oct,2021.
Alternative use and distribution of washable and reusable sanitary pads at Adamawa, December 6th 2021. Nutrition importance in the first 1000 days of a child on General Hospital, Kano at 17th Feb,2022. Sensitization on the effect of early marriage in girls and causes of virginaliais on girls less than 11 years at Gusau LEA Primary School, Zamfara on 12th April 2022.
Medical outreach for youth and women at Jigawa on June 13th 2022. Deworming of children under the ages of 5 at General Hospital, Osun, 4th Sept 2022. Awareness on the importance of wash at General Market, Markudi on Nov 2022. Awareness creation on blood donation at Kuje, Abuja on March 2023. Sensitization of youth on effects of climatology on children’s mental well being on 10th June, 2023. Medical outreach for all today Dakwo LEA Primary School, FCT on 29th July.

As accredited observers by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) we observe all general elections i.e Presidential, Bye Elections, Gubernatorial, Local Government elections, write and submit reports to INEC at the end of all elections, fellow up on electoral petition tribunals, supreme court and generals.
Arrange press conferences in situation rooms state publicly the credibility of elections and its processes. Arrange seminars that centres on voter awareness and education. Collaborate with stakeholders to assist women and girls that are disaster victims. Arrange emergency humanitarian assistance for victims. Ensure women and girls are sensitized on ways to handle emergencies and disasters.
