Welcome to Women & Child Disaster Rescue Initiative br (WOCHIDAR)
Our not–for-profit Organization is dedicated to Women & Child protection and empowerment, gender equality, good governance, leadership, rescue of those under several forms of disaster, violence, marginalization, homelessness, and abuse. Our focus areas are education, poverty alleviation, Livelihood, Technology, Abuse, Health, Justice, Environment and all forms of disaster and displacement.
We have tagged our project (#RESCUE PINK) a grassroot initiative intervention projected at rescuing marginalized women, displaced children and homeless poor amongst the women and girls. Our program seeks to promote capacity development & building, education, employability, skills trainings, access to loans and credit facilities, access to grants, agriculture, mentorships and reintegration. We also engage in maternal and newborn health, child health, nutrition and general health promotion, counselling for families and marriages, training of young children in practical life skills giving them a head start in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and entrepreneurial skills that would enable them develop the economy at the long run.
